Michael W. Thomas
With
over 14 years of experience, Michael focuses his practice on real estate
transactions and litigation as well as commercial and construction
law. Mr. Thomas represents developers, contractors, real property owners
and homeowners associations in construction, real estate and land use-related
litigation in both California and Hawaii. Mr. Thomas has a broad background
in construction and commercial real estate, including purchase and
sale agreements, land use and common interest development documentation,
and related issues. Mr. Thomas often speaks at seminars throughout
California on topics related to his areas of expertise. As a speaker,
he shares his knowledge on topics relating to: Easements, Boundary
Disputes, Mechanic’s Liens,
Construction Law, and Homeowner Association law. Before starting Inman • Thomas,
LLP, Mr. Thomas worked at the law firms of Trainor-Robertson, and Weintraub,
Genshlea, Chediak & Sproul
in Sacramento, California. He is a member of the Sacramento County
Bar Association, Real Property Section. His is also a member of the
State Bar of California, the State Bar of Hawaii, the American Bar
Association and the Community Association’s Institute. He received
his Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law,
his M.A. degree from University of California and his B.A. degree from
California State University Sonoma.

Bruce R. Inman
Bruce
Inman is a founding partner of the firm Inman • Thomas, LLP, which is
located in Roseville, California. Mr. Inman's law practice focuses
on creating common interest developments and advising community associations.
He has assisted clients in creating hundreds of developments, including
master planned communities, attached, detached, mixed-use, and commercial
planned development and has extensive experience creating a variety
of residential and commercial condominium projects. Mr. Inman is the
vice-chair of the California Building Industry Association/Department
of Real Estate Subcommittee, and a former board member of a regional
chapter of the Community Associations Institute. He received is Bachelor
of Arts degree from St. Mary's College of California, Teaching Credential
from California State University Stanislaus, and Juris Doctorate from
the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.

Cara M. O'Neill
Ms. O'Neill brings 13 years experience in bankruptcy and commercial litigation to the firm. She is an accomplished trial attorney, having represented clients in both civil and criminal courts in El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Tulare and Yolo Counties. For three years she served as an Administrative Law Judge for the New Motor Vehicle Board at which time she had the pleasure of facilitating settlements between major automotive and motorcycle manufacturers and their franchisees. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of Employment Law, Business Law and Criminal Law for a well-known university as well as conducted legal seminars on negotiation techniques and current issues in the insurance industry. She holds a BA in Communications Studies from California State University at Sacramento, and a J.D.from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she graduated Order of the Barristers in 1994.
